Proof-of-concept designs for a portable sales showcase
In a proof-of-concept exploration for Philips Lighting, we were tasked with conceptualizing a simple, straightforward, and elegant catalogue for sales representatives to showcase Philips Lighting products by highlighting their use in definitive projects.

Partnered with a front-end engineer and a visual designer, we quickly sketched out a basic app flow, drawing on the essentials of the online catalogue, rather than attempting to replicate the full experience. Our goal was to highlight the beauty afforded by the iPad's full display, and focused only on simple interactions and transitions that would support the overall usability of the app. After presenting to the business owners and testing the app in a limited pilot program, we were able to secure the contract to develop and build the app out; it launched in the Apple Store in October 2011 and was available for (public) download until December 2011. (Access to the app has since been made private to select sales representatives.)
